As we come to the end of the year, I want to take a moment to say thank you.
The past few months have been full of first steps for Vivid. We have shared meals, gathered around tables, prayed together, worshipped, and had honest conversations about what God is forming here in Kelowna. Whether you’ve been with us during an evening or tracking via social or email, thank you for your curiosity, your care, and your prayers.
Looking Back
Throughout the fall, we hosted several interest meetings where we talked openly about:
• Our vision of Helping People Find Life in Jesus and the values we want to embody as a church
https://www.vividkelowna.com/who-we-are
• Our ministry framework of Connect, Engage, and Grow, and how it shapes our life together
Connect

Engage

Grow
https://www.vividkelowna.com/grow
• The kind of culture and worship life we hope to build
• What it could look like to form a core team to build this church together
We have been encouraged by the questions, the stories, the laughter, and the sense that God is gently but clearly at work.
December Soft Launch
In December, our soft launch gatherings gave us a glimpse of what a regular rhythm could look like. We shared simple meals, sang together, opened Scripture, and began to experience the joy of gathering around Jesus consistently. These nights have only increased our excitement for what lies ahead.
We also want to say a huge thank you to Mountainview Church for their generosity and partnership. Their willingness to collaborate, share equipment, and open up their beautiful space has been a tremendous gift to us in these early days. We are deeply grateful for their support.

What’s Coming in January
On Sunday, January 4, we will begin a weekly Sunday night rhythm at Vivid.
When: Sundays, 5:15–7:00 pm
Where: Mountainview Church
These gatherings will remain in a soft launch phase, which simply means we are still developing strong teams for our ministries, testing and refining ideas, gathering feedback, and building momentum together. It is an intentional season of learning as we grow.
These nights are meant to be a space where you can:
• Come as you are
• Invite friends
• Participate and get involved at your own pace
We want to build something that is thoughtful, welcoming, and centered on Jesus, trusting God to guide each step.
Whether you have been with us from the beginning, joined recently, or are simply following along from a distance, please know how thankful we are for you. This really is just the beginning.
We continue to pray,
“May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands.”
Blessings,
Shawn & Lisa
